The portfolio tracker that keeps your portfolio to itself.
Track holdings, returns and tax lots with the depth of a paid tool. Everything runs in your browser, so your transactions are never uploaded anywhere.
Works in any modern browser. Import from Schwab, Fidelity, or a simple CSV.
Serious tax-lot tracking, without the subscription
Most free trackers show what your portfolio is worth. Portfolio Tracker also shows which shares you sold, what they cost, and how the gain will be taxed.
FIFO, LIFO or HIFO
Choose how lots are matched when you sell. Every sale shows each lot it drew from, with its own cost basis and gain.
Wash-sale flags
Losses with a repurchase of the same ticker in the same account within 30 days are flagged, so you can review them before filing.
Schedule D & Form 8949
Short- and long-term gains summarised by tax year, with a CSV export laid out like Form 8949 in Advanced mode.
Tax-lot planner
Planning a sale? The Lot Optimizer (Advanced mode) shows which lots to sell to reach a share count or a target gain, and how it splits between short- and long-term.
Honest returns
Time-weighted return, money-weighted return (XIRR) and simple return side by side, compared against the S&P 500 or any benchmark.
Charts & alerts
Candlestick charts with moving averages, and alerts at the stop-loss and profit levels you set.
Private by design, not by promise
There is no Portfolio Tracker server holding your data. That isn't a policy that could change; the app has nowhere to send it.
